Cypriot students win awards at Robotic Day Prague 2026

Cypriot student teams participated in the European robotics competition Robotic Day Prague 2026, held in the Czech Republic on June 6 and 7, 2026. The event, organized by Charles University in Prague, challenged students to demonstrate their engineering and programming skills. Four teams from Epiteugma Robotics Lab secured top positions: Island Boys took first place in Roadside Assistance, while Agent Road-Bot finished second in the same category. Additionally, I Forgot Now won first place in the Ketchup House category, and Quantum Minds placed second in ToyCleanup. Other participants included students from Pascal Private School and private tutoring centers Evrymatheia, Madlab, and Paideia. These teams qualified for the international competition through the local Robotic Day Cyprus 2026 event. Stavros Charalambous, head of the Cypriot mission, praised the students for their performance.
