Unstable weather conditions forecast for Cyprus
An unstable air mass is currently affecting Cyprus, resulting in scattered showers and localized thunderstorms, particularly in mountainous and inland regions. Meteorological reports indicate that these weather phenomena, which may include hail, are expected to persist through the coming days. Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach approximately 27°C inland, 25-26°C on the coasts, and around 16°C in the mountains. Winds will generally blow from the southwest to northwest at moderate speeds, occasionally reaching 5-6 Beaufort, causing sea conditions to be slight to rough. By night, conditions are expected to clear, with low clouds and potential patchy mist or fog developing in the early morning hours. Nighttime temperatures will drop to around 8-15°C depending on the altitude and region. A slight rise in temperatures is anticipated starting Tuesday, although the weather will remain partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers through Wednesday.
