Minister of health attends commonwealth health forum in Geneva
On Saturday in Geneva, Cyprus Minister of Health Neofytos Charalambidis participated in the Commonwealth Health Coordinating Forum. The primary objective of the gathering was to discuss national policies regarding cancer prevention and treatment. During the proceedings, the minister contributed to two specific sessions focusing on the practical application of scientific data into National Cancer Control Plans. Additionally, the discussions covered the challenges and strategies associated with the financing of cancer care. Minister Charalambidis presented the experience and ongoing actions of the Republic of Cyprus in the fields of cancer prevention and treatment. He also engaged with other international participants to exchange views on best practices and modern approaches to developing public health policy. This participation served as a platform for Cyprus to share its methodology with commonwealth partners.
