Journalist Annie Charalambous to launch book of compiled interviews

On May 27, at 6:00 pm, journalist Annie Charalambous will host the launch of her book, 'Profiles – People Worth a Page', at Palia Ilektriki in Nicosia. The venue is located at 3 Tempon Street. The book contains a collection of 38 interviews conducted between 2008 and 2018 during her tenure as a political and diplomatic correspondent for The Cyprus Weekly. The subjects of these interviews represent a broad spectrum of sectors, including politics, business, banking, arts, sports, and peace activism. Notable figures featured include Nobel laureate Christopher Pissarides, Nikos Christodoulides, and several others from the Cypriot and international community. The launch event will feature speeches by Deputy Government Spokesman Yiannis Antoniou and lawyer Achilleas Demetriades. Charalambous, born in 1963 in Nicosia, holds degrees in English Literature and Mass Communication from institutions in the United States.
