Aris Limassol extends contract with Anderson Correia
Aris Limassol has officially announced the one-year contract extension for the 35-year-old left-back Anderson Correia, who is a naturalized Cypriot international. During the 2025-26 season, Correia recorded 39 appearances in all competitions, providing 11 assists, and was the team's most utilized player in the league with over 2,900 minutes played. Although the player was initially considered likely to leave the club, a change in the Cyprus Football Association's regulations regarding domestic status for naturalized players influenced the decision. The club is currently in a transitional phase as they prepare for the new season, with plans to reduce the squad's average age and adjust the budget. Speculation persists regarding the potential return of Artyom Ratskov as coach, replacing Liasos Louka, though the club has not confirmed this. Additionally, forward Aleksandr Kokorin is set to depart the team as part of the roster changes.
