Official opening of the True Heart Café social enterprise in Nicosia

The True Heart Café, recognized as Cyprus's first official social enterprise, was inaugurated in Nicosia on May 18, 2026. The event was held under the auspices of President Nikos Christodoulides and attended by Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Clea Papaellina. Supported by the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation, the project focuses on providing employment and training for young people on the autism spectrum. The business currently employs 18 individuals with support needs. Additionally, five people with autism serve as shareholders in the company. The initiative aims to promote social inclusion and challenge existing perspectives regarding disability in the workplace.
