Public awareness event on workplace health and safety held in Nicosia

On May 9, 2026, an open public event regarding workplace health and safety was held at the Nicosia Mall. The event was organized through a collaboration between ERB Asfalistiki, the Department of Labor Inspection, and the Cyprus Safety and Health Association. Held under the auspices of the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance, Marinos Mousiouttas, the event aimed to raise public awareness on safety standards. Representatives from the participating organizations provided information on psychosocial factors impacting workplace health. Educational activities were organized for children to encourage a culture of safety from a young age. The program also included a live radio broadcast and the distribution of symbolic gifts. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort by the involved parties to promote preventative safety measures.
