Paphos municipal and police officials meet to discuss road safety

Acting Mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou, held a meeting at the municipal building with Sub-Inspector Andronikos Tsappis, who recently assumed the role of head of the Paphos Traffic Police. The meeting was also attended by Christos Liasidis, the Road Safety Officer of the Paphos Traffic Police, along with other municipal officials, including the Deputy Municipal Secretary, a senior municipal officer, the Municipal Engineer, and an acting traffic sergeant. The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between the Municipality of Paphos and the local police force. Participants discussed existing traffic regulations and strategies to improve road safety within the municipality's jurisdiction. The goal of these discussions was to enhance the daily lives of citizens and ensure safer traffic flow across the city. No specific new policies were announced, as the meeting focused on establishing coordination between the respective services.
