Nearchos Zinonos completes loan season at Akritas Chlorakas

Twenty-two-year-old right-back Nearchos Zinonos, under contract with Apollon Limassol until 2027, has completed a loan spell at Akritas Chlorakas. During the 2025-2026 season, he played his first full campaign in the top flight, having previously spent two years in the second division. Zinonos became a regular starter in the second half of the season following the departure of Cablan in January. He recorded 90-minute appearances in 15 of the last 17 league matches, contributing one goal and one assist. Although primarily a right-back, he also played in midfield roles under coach Alexis Garpozis. Despite Akritas Chlorakas failing to secure league survival, the player gained significant experience. The management at Apollon Limassol considers the loan a successful move for his professional development.
