Anorthosis prepares for leadership transition and financial stabilization

Anorthosis is transitioning to a new administrative board led by Savvas Koumis, Sotiris Flourentzos, and Panagiotis Giorkatzis. The current administration, headed by Kyriakos Prastitis, is scheduled to transfer control during the General Assembly on June 5, 2026. The new investment group has already deposited approximately 350,000 euros to address urgent financial obligations, out of a total of 1 million euros pledged. The initiative aims to stabilize the club's finances under the motto of timely payments. While the transfer of leadership is underway, the club is also conducting negotiations for stadium sponsorships and restructuring the management of the football department, including the search for a new head of the football company, a technical director, and a coach. Additionally, the player Kiko is expected to sign a contract extension for two years, with an option for a third. Despite earlier media reports suggesting a potential collaboration with Mauro Camoranesi, sources indicate that negotiations did not reach an agreement.
