Paphos tourism board attends SMART TOUR project meeting in France

The Paphos district tourism development and promotion company (Etap Paphos) is participating in the third Steering Group Meeting and a thematic workshop for the European SMART TOUR project. The event takes place on May 20-21, 2026, in Perros-Guirec, Brittany, France. The project aims to integrate data and digital technologies into tourism development to foster sustainability across European regions. Participants are reviewing progress, planning actions for the remainder of 2026, and discussing tourism statistics, indicators, and innovations in digital services. The initiative involves ten partners from Italy, France, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Albania, Ukraine, Belgium, and Cyprus. The project is 80 percent co-funded by the European Union. Etap Paphos states that this involvement is part of its ongoing strategy to promote the region as a smart and sustainable tourism destination.
