Larnaca EOA implements new restrictions at green points

The Larnaca District Government Organisation (EOA) announced on Monday that green points will no longer accept large volumes of construction waste resulting from renovations of residential or commercial properties. Property owners are now required to procure "skip" type containers at their own expense for the disposal of such materials. Additionally, the EOA has restricted access to a maximum of two visits per day per user to ensure the facility's operational efficiency. These measures were introduced following an evaluation of the site's capacity and current usage patterns. The organization emphasized that compliance is necessary to maintain the proper functioning of the infrastructure and environmental protection. Officials have also called on the public to treat the facilities and the staff with appropriate respect. These regulations are effective immediately across all green points managed by the Larnaca EOA.
