Group assault on a 22-year-old in Evosmos, Thessaloniki

On the evening of Sunday, a 22-year-old man was attacked while walking his dog in Evosmos, Thessaloniki. A group of six individuals, aged 16 to 19, first harassed the victim by spraying him with water pistols while recording the incident on their mobile phones. The group consisted of three Greek nationals and three individuals of Albanian descent, three of whom are minors. After the victim attempted to walk away, the perpetrators cornered him on Karaoli Dimitriou Street and proceeded to punch and kick him. Police officers from the Kordelio-Evosmos department subsequently identified and arrested all six suspects. A case file has been opened against them, including charges of simple physical harm, insult, and violations of personal data protection laws regarding the unauthorized recording. The incident was documented by security cameras and the suspects' own footage.
