CABE project partners hold third meeting at Hacettepe University
In April, the third official meeting for the Circular Approaches for the Built Environment (CABE) project took place at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. The project aims to develop circular solutions by reusing construction and demolition waste. Participants from Cyprus include the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), KyklOIKOdromio, and the Municipality of Strovolos. Over three days, partners reviewed the progress of project frameworks and digital tools as the project reaches its midpoint. Hacettepe University presented the Secondary Material Information Platform (SEMIP) to improve data collection for circular construction. Attendees also toured the university's Building Materials Lab and observed a facility constructed using 3D concrete printing technology. The sessions focused on evaluating stakeholder engagement and exploring innovative research and modelling methods.
