Police arrest two suspects in connection with recent burglaries in Limassol

Limassol police have conducted operations resulting in the arrest of two individuals involved in separate burglary cases. A 21-year-old man was arrested after a citizen reported him breaking into a cafeteria on May 20; he was found on a nearby rooftop with stolen computers. Authorities are investigating his involvement in a second burglary at the same location between May 19 and May 20. In a separate case, a 40-year-old man was arrested on May 20 in the Linopetra area following reports of local residential burglaries. Police found him in possession of a screwdriver, jewelry, perfumes, and two passports containing his photograph but different personal details. The 40-year-old is linked to five incidents, including burglaries and attempted break-ins in Mesa Geitonia, Linopetra, and Germasogeia between May 14 and May 20. Additionally, police are seeking two other unidentified individuals regarding conspiracy, burglary, theft, and forgery cases reported between February 15 and May 20, 2026.
