Cypriot Eurovision contestant Antigoni visits Lanition Gymnasium and Makario Hospital

Antigoni Buxton, who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest and finished in 19th place, has returned to the island. During her visit, she stopped at the Lanition Gymnasium in Limassol, where she interacted with students and teachers, performing her song 'Jalla'. She also visited the Makario Hospital in Nicosia on Tuesday, May 19, following an initiative by the ENA Foundation and the 'Mikroi Iroes' (Little Heroes) organization. During the hospital visit, she danced with a young patient named Stavriani, a moment that was documented in media reports. Antigoni also announced plans to fulfill the wish of another child currently battling cancer in Berlin. While some reports characterized her performance at Eurovision as a 19th-place finish, her public appearances in Cyprus are being highlighted for their humanitarian focus. The singer described her Eurovision participation as a wonderful journey. She is currently spending time in Cyprus for rest following the conclusion of the contest.
