Accept LGBTI Cyprus announces Cyprus Pride 2026

The campaign reclaims the Greek phrase 'pare dromo', often used dismissively to tell someone to leave, and transforms it into a call for visibility and equality. The organizers stated that the event is a response to rhetoric concerning 'natural order' and 'traditional values' that they perceive as tools for exclusion. The march is intended as a public demonstration of existence and dignity. Accept LGBTI Cyprus emphasized that the event is open to all who support human rights and equal treatment. The organization argued that equality should not be subject to negotiation in a country that professes European values.
