Anagennisi Deryneia secures U16 and U14 volleyball championships

Anagennisi Deryneia has been crowned champion in both the U16 and U14 boys' volleyball leagues. In the U16 category, the team defeated APOEL 3-0 at the Deryneia Indoor Hall, finishing the tournament with a perfect record of 12 wins in 12 matches. The U16 squad consisted of Andreas Karaiskos, Ilias Brousenko, Gabriel Reno, Vlato Poznak, Pantelis Paschali, Ioannis Derillas, Georgios Iakovou, Marios Theofilou, Efraim Charalambous, Michalis Georgiou, Dimitris Chatzikoumi, and Lazaros Stavrou. In the U14 category, the team also finished undefeated, securing 9 wins in 9 matches. The deciding victory for the U14 title occurred on Saturday, May 16, with a 2-0 win over APOEL in Deryneia. Throughout the U14 final group stage, the team achieved multiple victories against Nea Salamina, Anorthosis, and APOEL. These accomplishments mark a dominant season for the club's youth volleyball programs.
