CFA disciplinary committee announces recent sanctions

The CFA Disciplinary Judge, Aristotelis Vryonidis, has issued several fines following recent incidents in the Cyprus League 2025-2026. APOEL Nicosia players Konstantinos Laifis and Maioli da Silva Gabriel were fined for ejections due to intense protests and serious foul play during matches against Aris Limassol (May 6, 2026) and Apollon Limassol (May 10, 2026), respectively. AEK Larnaca player Dorge Ivanovic received a fine for dangerous play in the match against Omonia Nicosia on May 10, 2026. Additionally, Nicos Mylonas of Omonia Aradippou was sanctioned for improper conduct during a match against Akritas Chlorakas on May 9, 2026. The committee is also reviewing complaints against APOEL Nicosia regarding property damage and objects thrown by fans, as well as a report against AEK Larnaca for improper team conduct involving five yellow cards.
