Limassol municipality announces urban development consultations

The Limassol Municipality has scheduled two separate public consultation events at the Panos Solomonidis Cultural Centre. On May 25, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., the firm Eupalinos Meletitiki E.P.E. will present a study regarding the revitalization of nine public squares in Limassol neighborhoods, focusing on green space, safety, shading, and infrastructure. This project aims to convert these areas into functional hubs for social interaction and recreation. Subsequently, a second participatory workshop is scheduled for May 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., concerning the redevelopment of Anexartisias Street. This meeting aims to finalize design criteria based on 16 previous workshops and ongoing public feedback. The project team encourages residents and workers in the area to participate in these discussions to shape the final design proposals.
