Nicosia Municipality extends deadline for 2026 property tax payments

The Nicosia Municipality has officially extended the deadline for the payment of the 2026 Property Tax until Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Residents may settle their obligations without additional charges until this date. Payments are accepted online via the e-Nicosia platform or in person at the Municipal Service Offices in Nicosia, Aglantzia, Egkomi, and Agios Dometios. Citizens may also pay at the Central Municipal Treasury located within the walled city of Nicosia. The operating hours for in-person service are from 08:00 to 14:00. The municipality clarified that payments via bank transfer or cheque are not accepted, and transactions at Service Offices must be made exclusively by card. Failure to pay by the new deadline will result in a statutory surcharge of 10% on the outstanding amount.
