Ersin Tatar undergoes successful heart procedure

Ersin Tatar underwent a medical procedure to have a stent placed after a routine coronary angiography revealed a 70% blockage in a main artery. The procedure, performed at a hospital in the northern part of Nicosia, also involved the clearing of a previously installed stent using a specialized medicated balloon. According to Dr. Hamza Duygu, the head of the cardiology clinic, the intervention was successful. Tatar's condition is reported as stable and good, with no immediate threat to his life. He remains under medical observation for precautionary reasons. While some reports suggest he is expected to be discharged shortly, he continues to be monitored by healthcare professionals. This is not the first time the politician has dealt with heart-related health issues.
