Digital Heritage Summit 2026 to be held in Limassol

The Digital Heritage Summit 2026 will take place in Limassol, Cyprus, from May 25 to May 29, 2026. The event is organized by the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), in collaboration with Heritage Malta. It is held under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Deputy Ministry of Culture, and Europeana. The conference will be hosted at the Tassos Papadopoulos building of the CUT. The program focuses on digital transformation in the cultural sector, featuring advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality (XR), and Digital Twins. Discussions will also address the protection of cultural heritage against looting, climate change resilience, and ethical technology use. Attendees include international researchers, scientists, archaeologists, museologists, and policymakers. This event is part of the EuroMed conference series.
