Cyprus: An end to cigarette butts as we knew them – the new system changing streets and beaches

Cyprus has officially licensed the first collective system for managing cigarette butts and filters to combat environmental pollution. The initiative shifts responsibility to producers, aiming to organize collection and disposal to clean up streets and beaches.
