EuroLeague ticketing issues at the Final Four in Athens
Fans of Fenerbahce and Olympiacos encountered significant difficulties accessing tickets for the EuroLeague Final Four matches held at the Telekom Center in Athens on May 22. Fenerbahce officials criticized the organizers for poor management, noting that many supporters with valid tickets were unable to enter the stadium in time for the semifinals. The EuroLeague stated they received one million ticket requests and attributed the distribution delays to missing documentation from some purchasers. Fans reported receiving tickets for the wrong match or not receiving them at all, prompting complaints across all participating clubs. To resolve the issue, EuroLeague officials instructed fans to access their digital tickets via their official website using personal identification details. Although delays occurred, organizers aimed to ensure all ticket holders gained entry without postponing the scheduled matches between Olympiacos and Fenerbahce, and Valencia and Real Madrid.
