Two women arrested for theft from an elderly woman in Larnaca

On the previous day, officers from the Larnaca Cycling Police unit responded to a theft report at a local church. An elderly woman reported that her wallet had been stolen while inside the premises. Following an assessment of evidence and local patrols, police identified two suspects, aged 45 and 48. During the search, officers recovered 430 euros from one woman and 625 euros from the other. Judicial arrest warrants were subsequently issued, and both suspects were taken into custody. The Larnaca Petty Offenses Department is currently conducting further investigations into the case. The authorities are processing the evidence to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
