Investment fund assets in Cyprus grew by 3.5% in the first quarter of 2026
The Central Bank of Cyprus reported that the total assets of investment funds in the country reached €8.1743 billion at the end of March 2026. This represents a 3.5% increase compared to the €7.899 billion recorded in December 2025. The number of investment organizations also saw a marginal rise, moving from 350 in December 2025 to 351 by March 2026, reaching a level previously seen in September 2025. According to the published statistics, the fund portfolios are primarily composed of shares and related securities valued at €6.13 billion. Additionally, the organizations hold €577.4 million in debt securities. The remainder of the portfolio consists of loans and deposits totaling €841.3 million. These figures were officially released in the May 2026 edition of the Central Bank's statistical report.
