The suspects were apprehended following judicial warrants and appeared before the Larnaca District Court, which ordered their eight-day remand on May 22 and 23, 2026. Police conducted extensive searches at a residence in Governor’s Beach and an apartment in the Kamares area of Larnaca, where they discovered items and mixtures capable of manufacturing explosives. The suspects are reportedly not cooperating with authorities at this stage. Officials are currently evaluating intelligence to determine if a specific terror attack was planned within the country.
