Crow attacks pedestrians in Thessaloniki
On Olimpiados Street in central Thessaloniki, a crow attacked and injured three pedestrians while attempting to defend its fledgling, which had ended up on the sidewalk. The bird targeted anyone approaching the area, causing minor wounds and scratches. Affected individuals received first aid from a local pharmacist and are reported to be in good health. Local residents and supermarket employees reported that both the police and municipal authorities declined to intervene, suggesting they contact animal welfare organizations instead. Eventually, a local shopkeeper took action to resolve the situation. Wearing a motorcycle helmet and carrying a broom for protection, the man placed the fledgling into a cardboard box. He then relocated the bird to a nearby park, where the parent crow successfully reunited with its young. The operation concluded without further incident.
