Cyprus athletes achieve results at Nottwil World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026

The Cyprus Paralympic team participated in the Nottwil World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026 in Switzerland. Victor Pentaras won the gold medal in the T37 long jump category with a seasonal best mark of 5.92 meters. Andreas Beros placed second in the 400m final with a personal best time of 56.16 seconds. Beros also finished fourth in the 100m final, clocking 12.21 seconds, which is close to his personal record of 12.19 seconds. Alexandros Michaelidis achieved fifth place in the javelin throw with a distance of 16.51 meters. The team showcased consistent performance across multiple track and field disciplines during the tournament.
