Andreas Themistokleous casts his vote in parliamentary elections
Andreas Themistokleous, leader of the Democratic National Movement (DEK), cast his vote in the parliamentary elections at 13:15. The event took place at the 1st Primary School of Ypsonas, Center G, Ballot Box 152. He was accompanied by his daughter during the voting process. This marks the first time the DEK party has participated in a general election. In his post-vote statements, Themistokleous expressed hope that the process would lead to a stronger Cyprus, emphasizing the survival of Cypriot Hellenism in conditions of security and freedom. He highlighted that his party campaigned without state funding or major sponsorships, noting the need for better support for smaller political entities. The leader also confirmed that the DEK headquarters are based in Limassol. He urged voters to prioritize the future of Cyprus, their families, and their land when casting their ballots.
