Media representatives leave Fediados Panayiotou’s campaign headquarters in Meniko

Journalists gathered at the village of Meniko to cover Pheidias Panayiotou, the president of the Direct Democracy party, during the election process. Confusion initially arose regarding the exact location of the candidate, as media crews were directed to the courtyard of the Church of Agios Kyprianos but were later informed of a change in location within the village. Following this delay, journalists decided to leave the headquarters. According to reports from RIK, Panayiotou stated through his team that he was not interested in making statements to the press. Reports from Philenews suggest that the candidate remained at his family home and planned a private outing. Meanwhile, Sigma correspondent Elena Louka noted that the priest at the original location offered his best wishes to the waiting journalists. The incident concluded with the media withdrawing from the area without receiving any official comments from the candidate.
