Former model and television trainer Gogo Mastrokosta has died at the age of 55 or 56 following a long-term battle with cancer. She was hospitalized at the Evangelismos Hospital in Athens, with reports varying on whether her stay lasted for two weeks or several months. The news was announced by her daughter, Victoria Dellas, in the early hours of Monday, May 25. Mastrokosta had a history of health issues, including a prior battle with cancer diagnosed around 2008 and a more recent complication following a bone marrow transplant. Her husband, former football player Traianos Dellas, remained by her side throughout her illness. Sources state that her family intends to bury her in her hometown of Evinochori, Aitoloakarnania.
