Television personality Gogo Mastrokosta passes away at 56

Gogo Mastrokosta, a well-known Greek television personality and fitness trainer, has died at the age of 55 or 56 following a long battle with cancer. Her death was announced by her daughter, Victoria Dellas, in the early hours of Monday, May 25. Mastrokosta had been hospitalized for several weeks at the Evangelismos hospital in Athens prior to her passing. She is survived by her husband, former professional football player and coach Traianos Dellas, and their daughter. The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday at 12:00 at the Church of Agia Triada in Elliniko, with burial to follow at the chapel of Agios Georgios in Evinochori, Messolonghi. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Floga Foundation for children with cancer.
