Novica Erakovic to depart Omonia
Omonia Nicosia has officially informed midfielder Novica Erakovic that his contract will not be renewed, marking the end of his three-year tenure at the club. This decision, spearheaded by head coach Henning Berg, follows a season in which the Montenegrin player had a limited role, recording only 15 appearances and 239 minutes of play. Over his three years at the club, Erakovic accumulated 74 appearances with five goals and five assists. While his time with the league champions has concluded, reports suggest he may remain in Cyprus, with Nea Salamina expressing potential interest in signing him. Meanwhile, the club is currently in negotiations to extend the contracts of Alpha Dionkou, Mateo Maric, and Willy Semedo. Additionally, Charalambos Kyriakidis is departing the team to continue his career with Pafos FC. The club is currently restructuring its squad in preparation for the upcoming Champions League phase.
