Alma party representative accuses DISY of election law violations via SMS

Nikoletta Tsikkini, a representative of the Alma movement, publicly accused the Democratic Rally (DISY) of violating election laws. During an appearance on the Omega TV program 'Omega Dimokratia', Tsikkini claimed that the party sent unsolicited text messages to citizens on election day urging them to support the party. To substantiate the claim, Tsikkini read the content of the message on air and specified the time it was received. She argued that this action violates regulations, noting that other candidates complied with legal provisions by removing campaign materials. In response, DISY MP Dimitris Dimitriou stated that if Alma believes a violation occurred, they should file a formal complaint with the Chief Returning Officer. No other formal investigation has been launched at this stage.
