A video call cost a 52-year-old man dearly – how scammers managed to extract his details and rob him

A 52-year-old man from Nicosia lost a significant amount of money after scammers posing as police officers during a video call tricked him into revealing his banking details. The Cyprus Police are warning citizens to be cautious and never share personal information or bank credentials with unknown callers.
