Vladimiros Tziortzis competes at NASCAR Euro Series in France

Cypriot racing driver Vladimiros Tziortzis participated in the second round of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series on May 23-24 at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. Driving a Capital.com Ford Mustang V8 for the SPEEDHOUSE team, Tziortzis secured pole position in the OPEN category on Saturday, which was his first front-row start of the 2026 season. Despite a technical issue involving a broken rim and a deflating tire during the race, he maintained third place to reach the podium. On the same day in the V8GP category, he started third and finished fifth. During Sunday's races, he recorded a top-five finish in the OPEN category and a top-ten finish in the V8GP category. Tziortzis expressed satisfaction with the results, noting that while a win was possible, technical difficulties influenced the final outcome. These performances improved his standing in the overall championship, placing him near the top of the leaderboard.
