Nicosia police investigate robbery of a 29-year-old delivery rider

Police in Nicosia are investigating a robbery targeting a 29-year-old food delivery driver. Sources provide conflicting accounts regarding the timing of the incident; one report claims it occurred on Monday at 6:00 p.m., while others state it happened on Wednesday at 5:20 p.m. The victim was allegedly approached by two hooded or unidentified individuals while attempting to deliver an order. The assailants physically assaulted the driver and stole his mobile phone, a bag containing cash, and his motorcycle. After the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. The Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has taken over the case and is currently gathering evidence. As of now, no arrests have been announced in connection with the crime.
