Cleanup campaign continues in Paphos Industrial Area

The Municipality of Paphos has been conducting an ongoing cleanup operation in the local Industrial Area. According to acting Mayor Angelos Onisiforou, approximately 100 abandoned or problematic vehicles have been removed from the site to date. Municipal services are present daily to identify, document, and coordinate the removal of vehicles that contribute to urban decay. The initiative aims to enhance the overall safety and functionality of the industrial zone. Furthermore, the Municipal Council has reached a formal decision to proceed with new asphalt paving works in the area. These infrastructure improvements are intended to support local businesses and upgrade the site's condition. The project remains in progress as part of a broader effort to revitalize public spaces in the district.
