Negotiations for the acquisition of Sevilla FC by Sergio Ramos collapse

Negotiations regarding the acquisition of Sevilla FC by Sergio Ramos and his partners have officially ended without an agreement. The collapse follows a revised offer submitted by Ramos's team, which the sellers rejected as being significantly inferior to the original terms discussed in January. The initial proposal aimed for an 85% stake at a valuation of 440 million euros, including debt assumption and capital increases. In contrast, the new proposal sought only an 18% stake for approximately 100 million euros, with a staggered path toward majority control. The club's management deemed this move unfavorable to existing shareholders and immediately rejected it. Consequently, Sevilla FC is now exploring alternatives with other interested parties. Furthermore, the investment group Five Eleven Capital has reportedly withdrawn from the negotiations.
