Caught with 40 bottles of refrigerant gas at the checkpoint - 15,000 euro fine

Customs officers at the Agios Dometios crossing point seized 40 bottles of refrigerant gas found in a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Turkish Cypriot. The individual was released after agreeing to pay a 15,000 euro out-of-court settlement for the illegal transport of goods.
