Wolf attack reported in Fokida

A woman was attacked by a wolf while tending to her livestock in the mountainous region of the Dorida Municipality, Fokida. The woman reported that the encounter lasted approximately ten minutes, during which she fought off the animal using a stick. She stated that the wolf appeared aggressive and had its mouth open, leading her to believe it might be rabid. She managed to avoid falling or running away, as she feared doing so would encourage the animal to attack more severely. The woman contacted the Eupalio Forestry Service to report the incident. Relevant authorities are currently investigating the matter. No injuries to the woman or her livestock were specified in the initial reports.
