University of Cyprus launches its first English-language undergraduate degree
Following cabinet approval and recent legislative changes, the University of Cyprus has opened applications for its first English-language undergraduate degree. The program is part of the 'Young Universities for the Future of Europe' (YUFE) alliance. Students will study 'Urban Sustainability Studies,' a curriculum focusing on environmental sustainability, human rights in divided societies, migration, and business. The course is limited to 30 students for its first intake in September. Applicants must hold a secondary school leaving certificate and demonstrate B2-level English proficiency. Tuition fees are set at €5,300 per year, totaling approximately €15,900 for the three-year program. The deadline for applications is July 20. Enrolled students will have the opportunity to study at partner universities within the YUFE network during their second and third years.
