AEK Larnaca announces 2026/27 preseason plans and squad updates
AEK Larnaca has officially announced its preparations for the 2026/27 season, with players returning for medical tests on June 22 and training beginning on June 23. The team will hold its main training camp in Mierlo, Netherlands, from June 29 to July 11, including three friendly matches. The club is currently restructuring its squad following the departure of goalkeeper Zlatan Alomerovic, who recorded 22 clean sheets in 57 appearances. Technical director Xavi Roca is leading the search for a new goalkeeper and a head coach, while also pursuing players like Ivan Pankov and Clint Leemans. Reports indicate that the club is finalizing deals for Nicolas Andereggen and Kostas Pileas. Meanwhile, players such as Gerson Chacon and Youssef Amine are expected to return from injuries to contribute to the new campaign.
