Seventeen-year-old Anderlecht midfielder Nathan De Kat has become the subject of a transfer battle between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. De Kat is currently under contract with the Brussels-based club until June 2027. During the current season, the player recorded three goals and five assists across 45 appearances in all competitions. Reports from Sky Germany confirm that Anderlecht management is in contact with both German clubs regarding a potential move this summer. The transfer fee is estimated to reach 25 million euros. Borussia Dortmund has reportedly submitted an official bid and is considered the frontrunner because they have offered the player guarantees regarding first-team playing time. In contrast, Bayern Munich has not made similar commitments to the player regarding his position in the starting lineup.
