Lidl Cyprus to sponsor the upcoming Cyprus Pride event in Nicosia

Lidl Cyprus has announced its participation as a sponsor for the Cyprus Pride event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 6, at the Nicosia Municipal Garden. The company will operate a stand starting at 15:30 and host an interactive cupcake workshop led by the Lidl Food Academy on the Go team. The main parade is set to commence at 18:30, followed by live artistic performances. The company stated that its involvement is part of its corporate commitment to promoting equal opportunities and workplace diversity. In conjunction with this announcement, Lidl Cyprus highlighted its current compensation structure for store employees. This includes a starting gross salary of €1,220 for full-time positions. The company noted that this corresponds to an hourly wage of €7.41 in the first year, increasing to €8.10 after two years of service. Additionally, staff receive a 14th salary, which includes a summer bonus, along with various vouchers and benefits.
