37-year-old primary school principal dies in traffic accident in Arcadia

Ioannis Skagias, the 37-year-old principal of the Feneos Primary School in Corinthia, died in a fatal traffic accident. The incident occurred on the 6.5 kilometer mark of the Orchomenos-Limni provincial road in Arcadia. While he was traveling to Skala, Laconia, to join his wife and child for the long weekend, his vehicle veered off the road and overturned into a ravine. The victim, who had been serving as principal for one year, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was highly regarded by the local educational community, parents, and students for his character and dedication. The Tripolis Traffic Department is currently conducting a preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
