Bryan Bergougnoux, a former French professional footballer and assistant coach at Le Havre, passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 43. The former athlete collapsed in Toulouse while en route to a football event and was subsequently transported to a hospital where his death was confirmed. Reports indicate he suffered a sudden health incident, specifically cited as a cardiac arrest in some accounts. Throughout his career, Bergougnoux played for Lyon, where he won three French championships between 2002 and 2005, as well as Toulouse, Lecce, Tours, and Omonia Nicosia during the 2011-2012 season.
