Medical report confirms Donald Trump's physical fitness
U.S. President Donald Trump underwent an annual medical examination last week at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. White House physician Dr. Sean Barbamabela stated that the 79-year-old president, who turns 80 on June 14, remains in excellent physical, neurological, and cardiac health, deeming him fully capable of performing his duties. The extensive screening involved 22 medical specialists and included CT scans and cardiac imaging. The report noted that Trump's weight is currently 108 kilograms, an increase of six kilograms since his April 2025 assessment, leading doctors to recommend changes to his diet and exercise regimen. The White House confirmed the president suffers from chronic venous insufficiency, which causes ankle swelling. Officials previously attributed bruising on his right wrist to aspirin use and frequent handshakes. Trump, who holds office until his 80th birthday, has frequently compared his health favorably to his predecessor, Joe Biden.
